Castle museum with observation platform

The Brandenburg museum provides extensive information about the significance of the castle in the Middle Ages and the early modern period. Furthermore insight into the everyday life of castle residents from their eating and drinking habits up to their clothes and armaments is available. The specifics of the unusual features of the defence and residential castle buildings can be viewed with arranged visitor tours which include audio-visual demonstrations.
After the closure of the official museum season special guided tours are organized in conjunction with a re-enactment which includes the development of military construction, engineering and military technology in the Middle Ages.
